Barely anything. HexPop is designed to work with minimal data. Here's the full list of what our systems see when you play:
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, or payment information. There's nothing to pay for, so there's no reason to ask for payment details.
The data we gather serves exactly two purposes: keeping the game working, and understanding what breaks so we can fix it. That's it. We don't build profiles, we don't serve targeted ads, and we don't sell data to anyone.
HexPop uses localStorage to save your high score on your own device. We may use a small number of technical cookies for basic functionality. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies.
We use standard web hosting infrastructure. Our hosting providers may process basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal operations. These providers operate under strict data processing agreements. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Technical logs: deleted within 90 days. Aggregate stats: kept for up to 12 months, then purged. We don't maintain long-term profiles.
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete everything. Since we collect almost nothing, these requests are usually very simple to fulfill. Contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
We use HTTPS encryption for all connections. Access to any stored data is restricted to authorized team members only. We run regular security reviews.
If we update this policy, the date at the top changes. Major changes will be noted on the game page. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
